a cultural day called: : MALAKI MA KONGO

This day will bring together, for the fist time, the cultural variety of Kongo Space. These bantu cultures from central Africa ((Gabon, Congo-Brazzaville, R. D. Congo, Angola, Namibie), as much as those of the diaspora, will express themselves in complete authenticity, as essential components of a globalized world that is in search of variety. The intake of bantu cultures of Kongo essence is not to be demonstrated anymore in the contemporary world. On the contrary, native Kongo people, from central Africa, live in a socio-economic precariousness never seen before (war, forced migration from a borderline to another, denila of using Kongo language as well as native cultural values, land expropriation, ...).
This cultural day was started to help these native populations.

Unfortunately we are faced with a difficulty: time. The available date to get the hall, which we waited for so much, arrived unexpectedly for april the 17th 2010. This cut-off date doesn't give us the possibility to mobilize properly sponsors that might be at the height of the event. Postponing this date, though, means lessening the chances of a good programmation for the next year event.

It is therefore for these reasons that we call upon Men of culture from everywhere, all artists, friends of Africa in general and Ne Kongo friends in particular to be willing to rush in rescue of the maieutics for the promotion of life and language in the Kongo Space.
Here are the available possibilities to contributing to the festival:
- artistic
-sponsoring
- financial support
- publicity
- transport and housing for artists coming from ouside Paris
- protocol
- etc. ...

We invite you to give your contribution to the festival, serving exactly the quality and quantity of your intake.
Hoping that your action might be the condition sine qua non for the survival of Kongo cultural Space and for a better Africa, we'd like to remind you the last words of Ne Mvita Kanga (Antonio), king of Kongo, on october 29th 1665 at h. 17:30: Kongo tadi, ka di basué, dia ba nsinga zi ninga za ka zi tabuki (Kongo is a stone that mustn't get crumbled. It'd rather be cords that can stretch, but never break).
