March 2006: To commemorate the death of Queen KIMPA MVITA, the young woman who was burned for the unity and freedom of the black continent, CECILE Malaki Ma Kongo (Haiti) organizes a feast by bringing together foreign comers of Mexico and the Dominican Republic (DR). During the slave period, the slaves running during their journey from north to south, to relieve themselves they danced and clapped their Castrol and made ​​music with their mouths. In the memory of our ancestors, CECILE Malaki ma Kongo (Haiti)  invite the former head houngans Rara groups to this feast.
May 2006: C.E.C.I.L.E.  went to the seminar “Art- therapy and Forgiveness” to help young people who are infected with HIV / AIDS by providing psychologiacal and medical treatment.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Sensitize Participants on art as a mental, emotional and spiritual experience.
  2. Introducing participants to deeply process self-awareness, speech recognition and their ideas, emotions and mood.
  3. Give some elements for managing emotions, overcoming of obstacles and problems of everyday.
  4.  Start encountering the feeling of freedom, and acceptance of confidence in oneself.

REQUIREMENTS:

No previous knowledge required in the field of plastic arts, or skills in the field of painting.
